For centuries, longevity through happiness and wellbeing has helped humans thrive.  Yet today’s sophisticated medical technologies provide limited options to attain the skills necessary to cope with our highly competitive, fast-paced modern society.  Achieving inner happiness - a healthy mind, body and spirit - to increase longevity is not a new concept.  However, it is a new stage of evolution available to every individual worldwide.

 

Professionals in various types of health practices have sought methods to increase longevity and wellbeing; however, the focus has been to create a standard measurement, a magical elixir, or a single method to fit every person instead of focusing on individual needs.

 

Chinese wisdom traditions and ancient philosophy offer many keys to longevity.  Eminent doctors from centuries past and the Daoist way of life present similar essential concepts toward attaining longevity: inner peace; physical and mental strength and balance; daily meditation; a simple, natural diet; and Qi Gong, an exercise that increases a smooth flow of energy throughout the body.

 

Modern research supports the effectiveness of this ancient knowledge.  The practices of Qi Gong and daily meditation have been shown in recent studies to restore physical energy, improve sleep, increase a sense of wellbeing, and improve overall physical health.

 

From historic to modern times, China has been home to many specialized schools focused on the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) model of “Yang Sheng” which translates to “Nurturing Life.”  Today we describe “Nurturing Life” as “Longevity and Wellbeing.”  In the Chinese culture, a long, fruitful life arises from combining TCM and Daoist philosophy.

 

            Dr. Hu conducts her Mind Body Spirit Longevity coaching by combining TCM and Daoism with her wealth of knowledge gained during many years as a TCM doctor.  Dr. Hu’s practice focuses on Yang Sheng, or Longevity and Wellbeing, using Qi Meditation to create a clear flow of the body’s energy while meditating.

 

Every session with Dr. Hu includes coaching in these methods. Each individual will discover profound inner strength, find their unique path to happiness, and gain an understanding of how to best support their specific body requirements.  Each person gains the intuitional ability to create and maintain a self-healing lifestyle filled with inner peace.

 

Who is a candidate for Dr. Hu’s coaching?

People from all walks of life want happiness and long life. Everyone gains self-knowledge during sessions focused on good health for the mind, body and spirit.  Even those with long-term emotional stress, deep feelings of guilt, a chronic health condition, or terminal illness will find enormous benefit during these sessions.

 

How many sessions will I attend?

There are 8 sequential steps.  Each step is taught as a workshop. Some students may choose to have two or three coaching sessions in order to master certain steps.

 

How long is each session?

Approximately 60 to 90 minutes.

 

How much does it cost?

$20-30 is the suggested donation per person per session.

 

How do I prepare for a coaching session?

1.  Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Bring a jacket.  Wear comfortable shoes as part of the session may occur outside.

2.  Bring some water, tea or juice.  Do not bring alcoholic or carbonated beverages.

3.  Bring a pillow or pad for meditation. If you cannot sit comfortably on the floor we offer chairs, or you can bring you own chair if you prefer.
